A Purser is responsible for managing the interior of the vessel and all financial matters onboard. Pursers are generally employed for larger yachts because of the vast number of duties. This role communicates with contractors, vendors/suppliers, owners and other financial channels which the position may involve. Usually, this role requires at least five years of experience, in addition to land-based experience.
